I live in Australia and was born in 1983. When CBS/Fox Video began releasing ‘Faerie Tale Theatre’ on home video in Australia in 1984 my family rented the videocassettes from our local video library. Consequently, I have been a fan of the series for as long as I can remember. In fact, my earliest childhood memory is of staring at the CBS/Fox Video poster for ‘Hansel and Gretel’ on display at the video library. I was mesmerised by the image of the witch appearing in the plume of smoke from the chimney of the gingerbread cottage. This may explain why I have carried my love of this series of illustrations with me through to adulthood. Growing up, I would always be on the lookout for ‘Faerie Tale Theatre’ videocassettes, easily identifiable by their beautiful cover artwork and unique design.

The eventual release of ‘Faerie Tale Theatre’ on DVD allowed me to finally view all 26 episodes in the series as well as the long-lost retrospective special ‘Faerie Tale Theatre: Greatest Moments’. Over the years I have also managed to collect the complete set of 15 ‘Faerie Tale Theatre’ promotional posters featuring the illustrations.

I have a keen interest in film and film history and am also an aspiring actor. The link below will take you to my page on the Internet Movie Database:
